Modern office lounge area showcasing minimalist furniture with clean lines, including a linear gray sofa and sleek white side tables. The warm wooden paneling on the wall and ceiling contrasts with the cool-toned flooring. Evocative artwork and ambient lighting enhance the contemporary space.

HLW partnered with Global Atlantic Financial Group, a burgeoning entity in the insurance and investment sector, to craft a set of workplace guidelines that resonate with the company’s culture and streamline the incorporation of new spaces and teams. Facing the challenge of ensuring consistency across diverse locations, HLW’s strategy involved deep engagement with GAFG’s users and leadership, alongside rigorous data analysis and benchmarking. This process has birthed a standardized design approach, adaptable to various site baselines yet unified in reflecting GAFG’s brand identity. Currently, HLW is rolling out these guidelines in design projects across the United States, continually refining them through practical insights gained from each implementation.
